ABOUT MTAC:

The Massage Therapy Advisory Committee (“MTAC”) is a statutorily authorized advisory body providing advice to the governing Board on issues of massage therapy certification, registration, professional education, discipline and compliance.  MTAC is composed of six members; two licensed chiropractors and four massage therapists.    Members generally serve a four year term and may not serve more than two consecutive terms. The current members are:

ISSUES, QUESTIONS & MEETINGS:

Routine administrative questions may be addressed to the Certification Program Coordinator by telephone or  fax.  Other questions or issues requiring additional information may be brought to the attention of MTAC by addressing them in writing to the Program Manager.  The matter will be reviewed, coordinated, and placed on the agenda of the next MTAC Meeting.

 All general sessions of MTAC Meetings are open to the general public.  The general sessions are usually held at the beginning of the meeting.  Executive Sessions are closed to the public.  Minutes of the general sessions and agenda may be requested in writing from the Program Manager.

 Meetings of the governing Board of Chiropractic Examiners are held monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  The aforementioned policies regarding MTAC meetings also apply to the meetings of the Board.
